About Us

Kurt and I have been filming and editing weddings for four years. We love what we do and are proud of the way our talents and business has evolved. After we were married, we moved to Northern Virginia and Kurt took a job as a programmer and I took a job as a Technology Director of a small private school. From the days after our wedding, I had this strong desire to work in the wedding industry. I loved every second of my wedding (from the planning to the honeymoon). I wanted to relive every moment over and over. Unfortunately, we did not have a professional wedding video. That is my only regret of our wedding day. With the birth of our first child, we bought a digital video camera and began filming and editing many short movies. When we shared these with our friends, we were asked to film a number of weddings. I finally found a way to combine our technology background with our artistic side and to express this talent in creating memorable moments of the most important day in peoples lives. Eventually, we moved to Richmond, invested in all the necessary equipment to produce a Cinematic movie and started da-da productions Digital Video, Inc. Although we have filmed a number of other events, our primary focus is weddings. As lead videographer and editor, I love telling all the unique stories of couples' love. Kurt and I both have extended our knowledge through attending national WEVA (Wedding and Event Videographers Association) conferences and workshops and meeting with other professionals in the area and nationally.
